This is an English translation of the Korean original. If the two differ, the Korean version applies.
Ieum ("we") complies with the Personal Information Protection Act of the Republic of Korea and other applicable laws, and has published this Privacy Policy to protect the personal information of people who use Halleluyang (the "App").
1. Information we collect and how
The App collects only the following.
- Sign-in (required): your Apple or Google account identifier, email address and sign-in method, and your Google account name and profile photo URL (if you sign in with Google) — collected when you sign in with Apple or Google, and processed by Google LLC (Firebase Authentication). If you choose Apple's Hide My Email, we receive the relay address Apple creates instead.
- Game records (automatic): your talent balance and daily history, the items you bought and are wearing, the verses you drew and bookmarked, your Count Sheep, Fill the Ark and Talent Trading progress, and when they were saved — saved to your signed-in account while you use the App, and processed by Google LLC (Cloud Firestore, Seoul region, Republic of Korea).
- App usage (automatic): names of features used, screen views, app version, device type and operating system, device language, time zone and screen size, a randomly generated device identifier, the country in your device settings, approximate location estimated from your IP address (country, region and city), whether you allowed permissions (notifications, steps and ad tracking), whether you use widgets, your group nickname (if you have set one), and the identifier and name of groups where you used group features — collected while you use the App, and processed by Mixpanel, Inc. together with your signed-in account identifier. Your IP address is used only to estimate location and is not stored. The content of your prayer posts is never sent.
- Notifications (if you allow them): a device token for notifications, device type, app version, device language and time zone, your notification settings (whether the daily verse reminder, announcements and group notifications are on), when you last opened the App, and when we last sent you a reminder — saved to your signed-in account and processed by Google LLC (Cloud Firestore, Seoul region, Republic of Korea; Firebase Cloud Messaging), and delivered to your device through Apple Inc. (Apple Push Notification service). Notifications never include your prayer requests or prayer posts; group notifications include the other person's nickname and the group name.
- Ads (automatic): advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), device information, and ad impression and reward records — collected when you watch a rewarded ad, and processed by Google LLC (AdMob).
- Small groups and Everyone’s prayers (if you use them): your nickname, your character's outfit (profile circle), app language and when you agreed to the community rules / the prayer posts, updates and answered marks you post, where you posted them (a group or Everyone’s prayers), post language, when they were written or edited, and translations / group names, members and leaders, join requests, invite codes and removal records / records of praying together (who tapped it and when), news items, reports (target, reason and time), your block list, daily usage counts and restriction records — created when you enter them or use these features, saved to your signed-in account and processed by Google LLC (Cloud Firestore and Cloud Functions, Seoul region, Republic of Korea). Your nickname and profile circle are visible to other people who use the App; group posts and their prayer records are visible to that group's members, and Everyone’s prayers posts and their prayer records are visible to other people who use the App.
- Translation (if you tap the translate button, such as "View in English"): the text of the post being translated — sent to Anthropic, PBC for translation, and the result is saved for other people who view the same post. Your nickname and account identifier are not sent.
- Report alerts (when a report is received): the reason, the beginning of the reported post (up to 120 characters), the nickname of the author or reported person, and the number of reports — sent to the operator through Telegram (Telegram Messenger Inc.) so it can be reviewed within 24 hours.
- KakaoTalk invites (if you share one): an invite card with the group name and invite code — when you choose KakaoTalk sharing, it is delivered through Kakao Corp. to the chat you choose.
Sensitive content in your posts
Prayer posts may contain sensitive content, such as your faith or health, and posts are visible to other people as described above. You can choose not to post content you don't want to share, or share it only with a group, and you can edit or delete your posts at any time. Personal prayer requests you don't post stay only on your device.
Information we don't collect
- What you write yourself, such as prayer requests and thanks, and your step counts are stored only on your device and never sent to us. However, prayer requests you choose to post to a group or Everyone’s prayers with "Share" are saved as the Small groups and Everyone’s prayers information above.
- Step counts are read only on your device, using the device's Motion & Fitness (on Android, Physical activity) permission. We only collect whether you reached a step goal (2,000, 5,000 or 10,000 steps) as app usage.
